P.J. Arthur

Where the expertise comes from.

P.J. started as an apprentice in 1964, when woven and tufted wool were the industry standard. The natural products are where he began — and where his expertise remains strongest.

Over the decades he has watched synthetics come and go, while woven and tufted wools have kept their integrity in the marketplace. That long view informs every conversation about materials and installation.

PJA Consulting exists to help people through problems on the job — so the work is saved and the customer is satisfied.

Why it matters

Specialized carpet knowledge saves jobs.

“We are a problem solving company.”

01

Wool and natural fibers behave differently

Natural materials respond to moisture, tension and handling in ways synthetic carpet doesn't. Methods that work for one can cause problems for another.

02

Problems are expensive to undo

Once carpet is cut, seamed and installed, mistakes are costly. An experienced perspective early can help avoid rework.

03

Complex spaces need judgment

Curved steps, large patterned rooms and high-traffic commercial interiors call for knowledge that only comes from years on real jobs.

Put the experience to work

Bring decades of carpet knowledge to your project.

From a single question about wool to a complex commercial installation, start with a conversation.
